The Long Barn enjoys a secluded location between Askham & Bampton Grange in The Lake District National Park, 7 miles South of Penrith, just 5 miles from Pooley Bridge at the head of Lake Ullswater, only 3 miles if you take the nearby path across Askham Fell.
The Long Barn has step free access & is all on one level. The only internal step is a small step in the bathroom down into the shower room.
The well equipped kitchen leads to a dining area with a wall mounted television & the snug which has seating for 3.
The large bedroom has a comfortable double bed & the original stable stall has been restored to provide a partition between the double bed & the 3 single bunk beds.
The surrounding countryside is stunning, with quiet country roads & great views. The nearest village shop, pub & cafe are in Askham 2.2 miles away.
