The Shippon at Park View is a wonderful place where couples and families can enjoy the stunning countryside and coastline of North Devon and Exmoor National Park. The two-bedroom Devon holiday home is in the quiet village of Kentisbury, within walking distance of the village shop (with petrol station) and with gorgeous footpaths and cycling routes from the gate. The hospitable Pyne Arms pub is just 2.5 miles away. Spend lazy days sleeping late and lounging in the outdoor hot tub, or fill your holiday with adventure and excitement. Staying here, where there is such a wide variety of places to see and attractions to visit, means that you can plan your day based on the weather or your whims.
Kentisbury is near the western border of the Exmoor National Park and is only five miles or a 15-minute drive from Combe Martin, Wild Pear Beach and Broadsands Beach. Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde are also within easy reach. Go surfing, coasteering, swimming, SUPing or sea kayaking. Equipment hire and tuition are available locally. Devon's Blue Flag beaches are some of the best in Britain.
It's hard to imagine a more idyllic spot for a holiday. Lace up your hiking boots and explore for miles on a superb network of footpaths, or bring your bike and make good use of way-marked cycling routes with views that change with the seasons. Head to the hills on horseback or via a 4WD Exmoor Safari for adventure. Kids love the opportunity to develop their skills and independence, while adults appreciate the chance to escape daily routines and have the sort of bucket-and-spade experience that never goes out of fashion.
Local attractions include the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, the traffic-free Tarka Trail for walking and cycling, and specialist museums like the carriage museum at National Trust Arlington Court and the Cobbaton Combat Collection. Barnstaple has historic Victorian pannier markets and a great choice of independent shops and places to eat, or why not spend a day in Lynton and Lynmouth.
The Shippon at Park View Farm is available for holiday bookings all year round with underfloor heating and lots of stylish touches that make it welcoming in every season.

The Shippon (a shippon is a traditional term for a cow shed) at Park View is a stylish holiday home with a modern interior and accommodation entirely on ground floor level.
Downstairs:
Outside: An enclosed courtyard garden is made for outdoor living with outdoor seating and barbecue, lighting, and an undercover hot tub. There is also off-street parking for two cars.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are all included. A travel cot and a highchair are available. Guests to bring beach towels and cot bedding if they are required. Smoking is not permitted.
