Brockbank is a stone built end terrace dating from the early part of the 20th century and is located to the south of Kikby Stephen. It's a large spacious house which comfortably sleeps six people. As well as two open fires on the ground floor all rooms have recently fitted electric oil radiators. The house has been recently decorated with the exception of the bathroom and hallways. The ground floor and stairwell all have new carpets. The house has Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth speaker.
The historic market town of Kirkby Stephen sits in the Upper Eden Valley, an area renowned for it's beautiful and peaceful countryside. The town has all the shops, cafés, pubs etc needed. The walking in the area is excellent and can be accessed from the house within a few minutes. The trout fishing on the River Eden, which runs through Kirkby Stephen, is also excellent. The Lake DIstrict National Park, Yorkshire Dales National Park and the North Pennines National Landscape are all a short drive from Kirkby Stephen. Lake Windermere being only fifty minutes drive away.
There is off street parking to the side of the house for one vehicle. Please be aware that we don’t allow pets to stay at the house or smoking and vaping in the house.
Ground Floor
A new kitchen has recently been fitted and is very well equipped. It has an induction hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dish washer and washing machine. The dining room has seating for six around the table and two easy chairs by the open fire. The sitting room has three two seater sofas, ample seating for six, a Smart TV with sound bar and an open fire. Fuel for the fires is provided in one of the outbuildings.
First Floor
Includes a large double room with a king-sized bed at the front of the house and a bathroom with full-sized bath, new electric shower over the bath and a modern electric water heater.
Second Floor
The top floor includes a twin room with two single beds and a large ‘children’s room’ with two single beds, toys, books and plenty of room to play on a rainy day.

The house is rented as three bedroom at the prices shown in the tarriff section below. Alternatively one bedroom, for two people, can be rented at a lower rate as follows;
1 room for 3 nights - £280 peak season, £250 off peak.
1 room for 7 nights - £520 peak season, £450 off peak.
Please enquire about tarriffs for other durations.
A 30% deposit is required for all bookings when made and the balance due eight weeks before the arrival date.
