Lobster Pot Cottage is a delightful ‘fisherman’s style’ cottage sleeping up to six guests in two bedrooms, perfectly placed just a stone's throw from the quayside in the popular Cornish harbour town of Padstow. With its own parking space, heaps of character and an interior packed full of seaside charm, Lobster Pot Cottage is a favourite with families and friends.
Padstow is one of Cornwall's most popular holiday destinations, loved for its bustling harbour, glorious beaches and quaint little streets lined with fine dining restaurants, traditional cornish pubs, art galleries, shops and cafes.
Steeped in fishing history, Padstow has a bustling working harbour with fishing boats landing their catch regularly. As you would expect, there are plenty of opportunities to sample the seafood in the eateries surrounding the harbour. Whether you want to eat out to sample the seafood, or buy it and cook back at the cottage, you are guaranteed to enjoy some of the finest and freshest seafood in the country. If cooking is your passion, you should also consider booking yourself onto a course at Rick Stein's Cookery School - it's a great day out and one that provide memories and culinary inspiration forever and on.
For those who can tear themselves away from the beaches and attractions of Padstow there are plenty of wonderful places to visit locally. Hop on the ferry and visit Rock across the Camel Estuary - its beaches are magnificent and you can walk to Daymer Bay with its glorious dune fringed beach.
Jump in the car and visit Watergate Bay - great for surfing and the home of Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant; The Eden Project; Lanhydrock House or St Ives to name just a few of the areas many attractions. Hire a bike and cycle the Camel Trail (traffic free) or lace up your walking boots and explore the South West Coastal Path - both challenging and rewarding in equal measures!
Whether you're looking for a holiday with fabulous beaches and excellent eateries on the doorstep, or you want to get out and about exploring North Cornwall, Lobster Pot Cottage is a great choice.

Outside: Off the first floor living area is a small terrace where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the sunshine.
Additional information: Unfortunately no dogs in this cottage. Bed Linen, towels, electricity and central heating are included within the price (please bring beach towels). Short breaks available out of peak season or on a last minute basis if available - please enquire with the owner.
