Botleys Farm is a family home and farm set in the heart of the rolling Wiltshire countryside which offers a delightful self-catering apartment, farmhouse bed and breakfast and studio units for artists and small businesses. The farm is positioned in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers exceptional views across the Wiltshire Downs. You can also purchase veggies from the garden, enjoy water from the well and try your hand at traditional living with a straw burner that provides hot water and heating - Botleys Farm really does give you a taste of the country and the opportunity to escape the pressures of every day life.
The holiday apartment is an ideal base to visit the many local attractions, explore the Downs on your doorstep or simply relax by the swimming pool or fireside. Botleys Farm is only five miles from the beautiful New Forest, nine miles south of the Medieval Cathedral city of Salisbury and eighteen miles from Stonehenge.
The farm is connected to an excellent network of footpaths, bridal ways and by-ways so perfect for those who enjoy walking or cycling. Borrow the owner's mountain bikes or head off by foot over the gently undulating downland where you can enjoy an array of wild flowers and bird life - Larks, barn owls, lapwings and buzzards are all part of life up on the Wiltshire Downs.
This area offers many wonderful places to visit and a host of outdoor activities to enjoy such as: horse riding in the New Forest; water sports in Poole and at the New Forest Water Park; Old Sarum; Longleat House and Safari Park; Wilton House; Stourhead Gardens; Breamore House and the beautiful heritage Dorset coast. Botleys is also only a twenty minute walk from the ancient Mizmaze, a turf maze on the Breamore Estate which could be prehistoric but is more likely to be a medieval Christian maze.

The newly refurbished ground floor farmhouse apartment sleeps 2-4 guests and is ideal for couples or families. The apartment offers the following accommodation and facilities:
A double bedroom.
Bathroom with lovely romantic double-ended bath.
Large open plan sitting room and kitchen with breakfast bar, French windows and comfortable sofa bed.
Utility room.
Additional information: You are welcome to use the heated swimming pool, pool house, croquet lawn and farmhouse garden in the summer. You also have the shared use of a separate smaller garden with amazing views, garden furniture and BBQ. If the owners are up to date with all the gardening you may also be able to help yourself to seasonal veggies from the vegetable patch and fruit from the various fruit trees. All bedroom linen and towels are included within the price. The owners are able to make up seasonal, local and where possible organic produce boxes that are available upon request at a cost of £15. Minimal waste is encouraged and there are recycling and compost facilities. The property is available from April - September inclusive and is preferably rented from Friday - Friday. Short stays may be available on request. Please note that the swimming pool is only open during extended periods of fine and warm weather in the summer months and it is occasionally closed for maintenance or private parties.
