Kirkby Lonsdale will send you into raptures. Its charming stone buildings and scenic beauty spots have inspired many artists, most notably the British poet John Ruskin and great landscape artist JMW Turner. One of the most famous sights is "Ruskin's View", a four-minute stroll from the apartment and spectacular in every season with unparalleled views of the River Lune, Lune Valley and Underley Hall. A favourite local walk is over medieval Devil's Bridge to nearby Whittington. Walkers and cyclists will appreciate being close to the Ingleton Waterfall Trails, Whernside, and the Ribblehead Viaduct. The Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park are 15 minutes away, while Derwentwater and the Lake District National Park are half an hour's drive from the apartment.
Spend memorable days touring the Lakes, admiring Windermere, and visiting beautiful properties like Levens Hall, Leighton Hall, Sizergh Castle, Lowther Castle, and Holker Hall.
