The one-bedroom self-catering property is perfect for couples or individuals, including those with dogs or horses. It's in the tiny hamlet of Blackden, just under a mile from the Crown Inn country pub and within easy reach of Knutsford and Crewe. The Hayloft is on the grounds of the owner's property, set back from a country lane and behind a secure gate. It's hard to imagine anywhere more peaceful to relax, recharge and leave feeling revitalised in body and spirit.
Blackden is surrounded by fantastic walks, scenic cycling routes and beautiful bridleways. It only takes a few minutes to walk from the cottage to Blackden Heath with other local routes leading to Holmes Chapel, Goostrey village and the impressive UNESCO World Heritage Lovell Telescope Site at Jodrell Bank. Wander down the main street in Goostrey and admire the Cheshire half-timber framed houses and views over farmland and the countryside. Knutsford is always worth a visit whether you need to buy groceries in one of the fantastic independent shops or want to sit in a cafe and watch the world go by. Farmers' markets are held on Princess Street, Silk Mill Street, and Regents Street on the first Sunday of every month.
Day trips can include shopping and sightseeing in Manchester, only half an hour by train from nearby Goostrey station. Alternatively, drive 30 minutes to Chester for upmarket shopping, a fantastic zoo, and to walk along the wonderfully preserved Roman city walls. You can go hiking to Peak District beauty spots like The Roaches and cycling along the Monsal Trail. Marvel at the opulence of Chatsworth House and Gardens and admire the views from the Heights of Abraham.

The Hayloft is a smartly presented barn conversion with accommodation all on one level.
Outside: Guests can sit on the private patio, enjoying a cup of tea or glass of wine and views of fields and farmland. There is off-street parking, bicycle storage, electric car charging, and stabling for horses by arrangement.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Well behaved dogs and horses are welcome by arrangement. Short breaks and longer stays are possible, depending on availability. Smoking is not permitted.
