Little Thatch is as pretty as its name and accommodates up to six guests (and pets) in Five Star Gold luxury. Perfectly placed, the cottage sits in Selsey, an ancient fishing village in West Sussex and is close to Chichester Harbour and within walking distance of Pagham Harbour with its excellent gastro pub, The Crab and Lobster.
Providing open-plan living with a ground floor bedroom and shower room accessible to wheelchairs, the cottage has wide appeal to families, friends and also couples looking for a character coastal retreat with a little extra space around them. Dating as far back as the 17th Century, the cottage has a wonderful blend of character features, complimented by modern conveniences to ensure a high standard of comfort and style throughout. Having a strong focus on luxury, beds are adorned with Egyptian cotton linen, each bedroom has an en-suite and the outside living space is every bit as conducive to relaxation as the inside of the cottage is.
Surrounded by glorious Sussex countryside, Little Thatch has dog-friendly beaches just a short walk away, allowing guests to immediately relax and unwind from the moment they arrive. Part of the Manhood Peninsula, Selsey has shops, pubs and restaurants for a meal out or buy the freshest of crab, lobster and fish straight from the local fishermen to enjoy back at the cottage.
Wander down to the pebble beach with a blanket and book, or explore the coastline and pay a visit to the sandy oasis of West Wittering or Bognor Regis for some traditional seaside fun. Chichester is only eight miles away with its busy harbour and stunning cathedral, head slightly inland to Arundel with its majestic castle or visit the city of Portsmouth with its historic dockyard. Goodwood race course is also within easy reach and the area offers good opportunities for those who enjoy golf, fishing, cycling, sailing, horse riding and boating.
