Sleeping up to nine guests, this stylish New England-inspired retreat offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort and location, making it ideal for family holidays, group getaways and special occasions by the coast.
Designed around its spectacular setting, the property makes the most of every angle of the view. Expansive glazing fills the home with natural light, while the open-plan living spaces flow effortlessly onto balconies and outdoor entertaining areas overlooking the beach below.
The spacious living area provides a relaxing place to gather after a day exploring Cornwall, while the contemporary kitchen is fully equipped for everything from relaxed breakfasts to celebratory meals. Outside, the recently installed outdoor kitchen creates an additional space to cook, dine and socialise while taking in the sea air and watching the sun sink into the ocean.
Accommodation is thoughtfully arranged across four bedrooms, comprising three king-size rooms and a further bedroom with three single beds. Two bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities, while two additional bathrooms, including a practical wet room, ensure plenty of space for larger groups.
One of the greatest luxuries at The Lookout is how close it is to the beach. Within just a few minutes, you can be strolling across the sand, enjoying a morning swim, taking a surf lesson or exploring the rock pools that appear at low tide. The village itself is also within easy walking distance and offers a bakery, cafés, pubs and local shops.
Portreath is perfectly positioned for exploring Cornwall's north coast. The South West Coast Path passes through the village, providing spectacular walking routes towards Porthtowan, Godrevy and St Agnes. Nearby Tehidy Country Park offers miles of woodland trails for walking and cycling, while some of Cornwall's most popular surfing beaches are just a short drive away.
Whether you're enjoying a barbecue in the outdoor kitchen, watching dramatic winter storms roll across the Atlantic or relaxing with a glass of wine as the sun sets over the bay, The Lookout offers a truly memorable coastal escape with some of the finest views on Cornwall's north coast.
