Albion Cottage is a beautiful quirky cottage in the heart of charming Whitby just a few minutes walk from the train station and harbour.
This cosy cottage is perfect all year round thanks to the underfloor heating on the ground floor plus the large Smart Tvs with Netflix and Prime plus fast free unlimited WiFi.
We know Whitby is so many guests 'Special Place' and this is why we almost always have Albion Cottage available from 1pm to ensure that you have more time to enjoy beautiful Whitby and what it has to offer.
Our reviews often comment on how close we are to the town and also the comfortable beds and pillows plus the large walk in shower so you you can all be ready in time. Our previous guests believe that we have thought of most things that you will need whether it be a 2 night stay or a weeks stay!

We know parking can be a challenge and there is free on street parking on Albion Place and surrounding streets, however if your able to arrive between 1pm to 2:30pm we're fairly confident that we will have a parking space where we are parked on Albion Place that you can use when you arrive!
As mentioned we are close to the station so if you fancy a trip to Robin Hoods Bay or Scarborough then the local bus will take you there as well as Saltburn, Sandsend heading up the coast.
The train station offers travel by both Steam and diesel. The Steam trains heading out to Heartbeat land with Goathland (Aidensfield) and Pickering just a few of the stops.
The diesel trains will also take you onto the Moors to beautiful villages such as Grosmont, Egton Bridge and Glaisdale to name just a few that have amazing walks, scenery and local pubs serving fantastic food. The duo tickets are great value!
At Albion Cottage we do welcome dogs however we do ask that you request them prior to booking. We don't have a garden or yard however there is a lovely tree lined lane just yards from the cottage where you can walk your 4 legged friends.
Finally as mentioned Albion Cottage is a Quirky cottage built in the early 1800s over 3 floors. With the bedrooms been on the 3rd floor this maybe challenging for anyone with mobility issues, as this is something our previous guests have mentioned!
