This charming cottage is part of a period barn conversion providing 5-Star Gold standard accommodation for up to four people (plus a baby or toddler) in two bedrooms. Couples and small families love Cornflower Cottage not only for space and luxury but also for the fantastic location close to Exmoor National Park and beautiful beaches. Taunton is only a short drive away and there is a family-friendly pub, the New Inn in Halse, just a five-minute stroll from the front door.
Somerset is the perfect holiday destination for anyone in any season. If you like a lazy seaside holiday then you have your pick of beaches for sunning, swimming and surfing. There are golf courses and country houses for those who enjoy more leisurely pursuits, natural wonders like Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge, and miles of footpaths through the countryside and along the coast. Exmoor National Park is stunning and a particular favourite with mountain bikers, ramblers and climbers, and it is possible to book a safari with an expert guide to discover more about the landscape and wildlife.
Any parent knows that children can be fickle beasts, so its good to know that there is plenty to keep them occupied locally. Bristol is also within easy reach with its museums, theatres, shops and extensive maritime history, as well as its award-winning zoo. There is a vast array of places to eat and drink if you fancy a meal out, and farmer's markets and local delis selling delicious local produce you can cook at home. The owners of Cornflower Cottage can provide free-range meat and eggs and even put you in contact with local caters if you want a completely relaxing break.
Cornflower Cottage is one of five superb self-catering properties at Lavender Hill Holidays, and can be booked on its own or together with one of the other cottages, treehouses or farmhouses on the estate to accommodate groups of friends or extended families. The owners work hard to maintain their consistently high rating from Visit Britain, focusing on all the small details that make the cottage a welcoming home-away-from-home for the duration of your stay.

Outside: Cornflower Cottage has a private fenced yard with both a lawn area and a patio. There is outdoor furniture, a barbecue and a hot tub. Guests can also have two private sessions per day in the indoor heated swimming pool.
Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, sheets and towels are included. Well behaved pets are welcome with prior agreement. Short breaks are possible depending on availability. Smoking is not permitted.
