Woodcock is a beautiful barn conversion offering luxury self-catering accommodation in Norfolk. Located on a family-run farm a few miles from Beccles, the barn is one of eight fantastic cottages on site, with the farmland having riverfront access for fishing as well as the use of amenities that include a games barn, soft play area, gym, outdoor hot tub and spacious lawn which is perfect for ball games and flying kites. The owners have created paths for walking and cycling around the farm, letting guests appreciate the beauty of their 1,100-acres where they grow wheat and barley as well as raise free-range chickens and dairy cows. Guests can watch the evening (or morning if you are up early enough!) milking if they are keen.
Wheatacre Hall Barns are in the beautiful Waveney Valley, close to the border between Norfolk and Suffolk and not far from the stunning Norfolk Broads National Park. There is a welcoming pub in walking distance, the Wheatacre White Lion, with more places to eat, drink and shop around five miles away in the market town of Beccles where a farmers' market runs on the first and third Saturday mornings of every month. There is no need to worry if you miss a market day as there are plenty of places to buy local produce. Four supermarkets all deliver to Woodcock (Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda) so you can even order your groceries to be delivered before you arrive - just let the owners know in advance, and they will be happy to accept delivery for you.
There is plenty to see and do in the vicinity so regardless of the ages and interests of the people you are travelling with, you will find something to keep everyone happy. Children will love BeWILDerwood, Africa Alive and Pleasurewood Hills, while nearby opportunities for go-karting, parachuting and skydiving will appeal to adventurous guests. There are several golf courses and fishing lakes in the area, and you can hire a boat and explore the rivers and waterways.
Woodcock can be booked on its own to sleep up to six people in three bedrooms, or together with one of the other cottages at Wheatacre Hall Barns if you are on holiday with your extended family or friends. The cottage and facilities are as perfect for a relaxing week-long holiday as for a special family gathering, and with so many activities available on site it is easy to keep everyone happy.

Outside: A door at the rear of the cottage opens on to steps that lead up to a private patio with a barbecue and garden furniture, and guests also have access to all of the shared areas of Wheatacre Hall Barns. There is allocated parking next to the cottage.
Additional Information: All utilities, sheets and bath towels are included. The owner can take delivery of groceries prior to your arrival if arranged in advance. Short breaks are possible all year round. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted in any property at Wheatacre Hall Barns.
