Formerly a pottery, this charming holiday cottage has been carefully renovated by its owners to offer welcoming self-catering for parties of up to four in comfort.
Located on the outskirts of the market town of Horncastle within Lincolnshire, it is just a five minute walk to the centre of the town with its wealth of restaurants, pubs, takeaways and swimming pool.
The ancient market town gained its market origins way back in the 13th Century and today is well known as a centre for the antiques trade. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the Wolds, it is within easy reach by car of Lincoln, Woodhall Spa and Louth. The coastline is also within easy driving distance for lazy days by the sea with glorious sandy beaches for relaxing and building sandcastles, as well as amusements that will keep the kids entertained.
There are plenty of things to do and see in this area including: golf (Woodhall Spa Golf course is just five miles away); fishing (both coarse and fly fishing on the rivers and sea fishing); pony trekking; lovely walks through countryside; craft shops and fairs; attractions for all ages; farmers markets for picking up local produce; motor and bike racing at Cadwell Park and Market Rasen horse race course for those with a passion for racing.
Centrally located, Horncastle provides a superb touring base for exploring Lincolnshire.
