White Cross Cottage is a rural retreat where you can unwind and relax, indulging in the luxury of leaving the daily hustle behind. The cottage is on a quiet lane in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside close to The Wash National Nature Reserve. It feels like a proper escape yet is still within easy reach of places like Lincoln and Peterborough. There are two double bedrooms to sleep up to four people, so it is perfect for couples or friends.
The detached cottage, once part of a working farm, is surrounded by fields and located next door to the owners farmhouse, just outside the village of Fosdyke. There are beautiful views from the cottage and garden, with miles of lanes to cycle and footpaths to stroll. The protected environment of The Wash is a haven for birds and wildlife, with RSPB reserves at nearby Frampton Marsh and Freiston Shore, but even sitting in the garden is a pleasure for the senses.
Lincoln is a delightful city with lots to see, including a historic castle and cathedral. It has a wealth of independent shops, excellent pubs and cafes (don't miss the famous Lincolnshire sausage!), museums, galleries and a marina. Nearby attractions include the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at Coningsby and Doddington Hall and Gardens. Grantham, Peterborough, Kings Lynn and Skegness are all also within easy reach as are Norfolk's glorious golden sands giving lots of options of things to do and places to see.
Staying at White Cross Cottage makes it easy to combine the best of town, countryside and the coast, creating an itinerary to suit your mood.

White Cross Cottage is a modern centrally heated single-story property built in a traditional red brick style. It sits next door to the owner's farmhouse, originally a farm building, it is detached and entirely private and self-contained.
Outside: White Cross Cottage has an enclosed garden with countryside views. There is off-street parking for several cars.
Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, sheets and towels are included. Unfortunately no pets. Short breaks are possible all year round, depending on availability. Smoking is not permitted.
