About Lavender Cottage

Lavender cottage is a detached newly renovated bungalow, ideally  situated in a quiet cul de sac location between Sandilands and the main village of Sutton on Sea. It is only an 8-9 minute walk to the sea across the footpaths of Acre Gap

It comprises a spacious lounge with fireplace with electric living flame fire, dining table, TV and DVD player, a new fully fitted kitchen, conservatory, two double bedrooms (king size double and twin) and bathroom with spacious shower.

The newly fitted kitchen has an induction hob, oven and microwave and also includes fridge, separate freezer, and washing machine.

 The large sunny conservatory is a lovely place to relax overlooking the garden. With its suite of conservatory furniture and table you can enjoy meals here ( aswell as in the lounge- diner ) or just relax with a book.

The spacious main bedrooms has a wardrobe and chest of drawers and king size bed whilst the twin bedded room has fitted wardrobes plenty of space for hanging /storing clothes and shoes. 

There’s plenty of space for your coats, walking boots and bikes in the spacious lockable entrance porch. Outside in the fully enclosed, private garden you can enjoy alfresco dining (table and 4 chairs). There’s space for your dog to stretch their legs without affecting the neighbours ( assuming they are quiet! )

One dog is welcome, and a dog bed, dog bowl and doggie welcome pack is provided (dog charge £25/wk). Please note this property is strictly non smoking (including vaping). There is a good housekeeping bond of £100.

Within easy walking distance is a co-op store (8-9mins) and Sutton on Sea high street is approx 10-15 mins walk with both shops and eating/drinking facilities. The Fat Seagull in Sandilands is just 7-8 mins walk for a bite for lunch or early evening drink after an easy stroll by the sea.

Sutton on Sea is a fabulous holiday destination with its award winning blue flag beaches (Sutton on Sea, Skegness and Mablethorpe all awarded Blue Flag in 2023) with a promenade going for miles along the beach edge, ideal for walking and cycling.

There is a wide range of attractions within the area; Natureland seal sanctuary, Donna Nook nature reserve, the North Sea Observatory at nearby Chapel St Leonards to name a few, not forgetting the nearby donkey sanctuary. For those enjoying historical aspects Tattershall Castle and Gunby Hall are within reach. The nearby towns of Skegness and Louth are an easy half hour drive

Lincolnshire Wolds Railway and the city of Lincoln with its cathedral and 11th century castle are an easy day trip. For children, Fantasy island and Skegness Aquarium at Skegness provides hours of entertainment, with the fabulous beaches of not only Sutton but also Mablethorpe and Skegness also nearby.
