About Lakeview Lodge

Lakeview Lodge is a light and airy self-catering lodge located in the small coastal village of Anderby Creek near Skegness in Lincolnshire. Sitting on the edge of a lake, with both a stunning patio area and large bifold doors for indoor/outdoor living, it is easy to make the most of the stunning lakeside views whatever the weather. This homely lodge has been renovated to a high standard and sleeps four guests in two double bedrooms, making it perfect for couples or small families, and two well behaved dogs are also welcome.

The small seaside village of Anderby Creek is the perfect location to escape the crowds and get away from it all for a few days. If you can tear yourself away from the lakeside views, you will find a beautiful stretch of unspoilt sandy beach just a short walk away. It's an excellent spot for a bracing walk to blow the cobwebs away, or bring your deckchair, bucket and spade and enjoy a day by the sea. There is a small shop where you can pick up local supplies, or a pub with a beer garden and cafe on the beach if you don't fancy cooking. Alternatively, head inland to the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you can explore miles and miles of footpaths and cycle tracks through the rolling hills and picturesque villages.

For those looking for something a bit more lively, head to the popular resort of Skegness just ten miles away. Enjoy a traditional fun filled day of family friendly activities such as donkey rides on the beach, go-karting, ten-pin bowling, crazy golf and fairground rides on the vintage pier. Other attractions include the Natureland Seal Sanctuary, Skegness Aquarium, The Village Church Farm and Hardys Animal Farm, or enjoy a night out at the Skegness Embassy Theatre. Other day trips include exploring the country house and Victorian walled gardens at the National Trust's Gunby Estate, Hall and Gardens, go for a horse ride on the beach with Orchard Farm Equestrian or visit the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park.

However you choose to spend your days, it is always a pleasure to return back to Lakeview Lodge at the end of the day. Whether you fancy watching the lake's wildlife with a sundowner on the decking, or curl up with a favourite film or good book, this fantastic lodge is the perfect base for a relaxing getaway at any time of the year.
