Tregrehan Garden Cottages, an unusual brew of Cornish history and landscape, and Kiwi hospitality, provide relaxed holidays in a magical setting of 19th Century Grade II architecture within a 20 acre woodland garden. Magnificent trees soar above the pink stone buildings, home to five fully equipped cottages sleeping 1 to 8 edging the cobbled courtyard. Open all year for short and long breaks. Arrive to a lit wood-burner during the colder months, wood included. Natural, high quality products are used throughout. Each cottage has a private garden, some walled. Someone is on hand if needed.
The cottages are an ideal base for all with a myriad of interesting options on hand. For plants people spring starts early in Cornwall and Tregrehan Garden is open from mid-March, a garden of recognised merit with an extraordinary collection of trees. Most of Cornwall's ‘Great Gardens’ are in close proximity. Twenty minutes walk to the coastal path leads westwards to Crinnis beach, historic Charlestown harbour and onwards to Mevagissey; eastwards past Par beach, Polkerris and over Du Maurier country to Fowey. Take the foot ferry and venture further to wonderful Lantic beach. The Eden Project is just a 20 minute walk. Explore secluded Luxulyan Valley and Helman Tor behind us, superb cycling. Kayak or walk the wooded Fowey Estuary rich in wildlife. Enjoy Lostwithiel’s independent shops and antique stores. Head to the Duchy Nursery for cake and tea, and meander further along the Fowey River through the idyllic landscape to the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House.
From Bodmin you can join the Camel trail and cycle to Padstow. Book the Beach Café at Watergate Bay between surfs, easy access and within a 35-minute drive. Relax in Tregrehan Garden and enjoy a game of tennis in a lovely setting.

Pass under the lime tree alley in the Parkland of Tregrehan Estate, to your choice of 5 pink granite holiday cottages and apartments set around the large cobbled courtyard. Thoughtfully designed, the cottages are spacious with each having a private entrance and outlook, along with its own enclosed garden.
The Coach House with large secret garden enclosed by the walls of the old grain mill. The cottage sleeps up to seven guests and retains much original character with modern comforts and eco-insulation.

Dogs welcome upon request at an additional charge. Garden furniture and barbeque available by arrangement. Guests are welcome to use the tennis courts during working hours (booking is necessary). Towels available at an additional charge of £6 per person. The coin operated washing machine is located in an outside communal laundry room. Baby sitters available
GREEN CREDENTIALS - Solar 4kw supplied to the cottage. Winter work 2024 included insulating all internal walls using wood wool board (B/S1/d0 fire rating) /lime plaster throughout. Wood burners supplied with Estate wood.
