Or walking along the coastal footpath or driving up to Padstow for a fresh seafood lunch and returning to your self-catering holiday home to lounge in the afternoon sunshine and enjoy cocktails against the backdrop of the sun setting over the water. Underfloor heating and glass bifold doors make the property as welcoming in autumn and winter, letting you relax indoors by the fire and away from the weather without sacrificing a moment of the incredible views.
Porth Beach is a lovely golden expanse of sand, with calm waters for safe swimming and lifeguards on duty between mid-May and the end of September. The village has a good range of amenities, including the Mermaid Inn pub and the popular Gwenna Teahouse, which serves arguably the best cream tea in Cornwall. Walk along the South West Coast Path around Porth Island to Watergate Bay, or south to Newquay, Great Western, Lusty Glaze and Tolcarn beaches. Bring or hire surfboards, sea kayaks and SUPs, or book a guided coasteering tour to experience the full scope of life by the coast.
You'll find it difficult to drag yourself away from the beach, but it is worth it for attractions like the Eden Project, around 40 minutes from The Sail Loft. Wander around National Trust Trerice Manor and the gardens and cottages at Trenance. Go gallery-hopping in St Ives, immerse yourself in the magic of Tintagel, and get your thrills mountain biking on Bodmin Moor. Closer to home, family-friendly days out include Newquay Zoo, Lappa Valley, the Blue Reef Aquarium, Dairyland Farm Park, Camel Creek Adventure Park, and Flambards.

Outside: Sun loungers, a dining table and chairs, and a charcoal barbecue make the beachfront terrace a place you'll spend many happy hours. The house comes with off-street parking for one car, an outdoor wetroom/shower, and secure storage for surfboards, bikes and other equipment.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. A travel cot, stairgate and a highchair are available. Guests to provide beach towels and cot bedding if required. Charcoal and fuel for the log burner are available locally. Smoking and pets are not permitted.
