Studio Cottage is a captivating coastal home with superb sea views visible from almost every window. From picture perfect emerald blue sea reflecting in the sunshine, to stormy waves crashing against the rocks, the views are probably some of the most striking you will see in the whole of Cornwall. But it's not just the spectacular views over Talland Bay, everything about Studio Cottage, including its extensive grounds with its own steps down to the beach, the beautiful interior furnishings, and plenty of space for up to ten people in four comfortable bedrooms, will ensure you won't want to leave. It's perfect for large or extended families or groups of friends who love being steps from the famous South West Coast Path and within a short walk of an award-winning restaurant, licensed cafes, and of course, the beach. Organising a holiday for your family can sometimes feel like a thankless task, but when you book Studio Cottage, you'll be creating a relaxing getaway everyone will love talking about and cherish for years to come.
Talland Bay is a picturesque cove with two sheltered beaches perfect for rock pooling, boat launching and swimming in the tidal pools. Private steps and pathway lead from the house down to a café and beach below. It's around a mile and a half to walk the coastal path to the quaint fishing village of Polperro, famous for its small cobbled streets and historic cottages and scenic harbour. This popular spot is great for visitors wanting to enjoy fresh seafood at one of the local eateries while watching the boats come and go. The 2.5-mile walk to the harbour town of Looe is equally beautiful whether you go via the coast path route or through the scenic countryside, both are within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
We wouldn't blame you for spending your entire holiday lounging on the beach or in the gardens of Studio Cottage. There's nothing nicer than being able to swim when you want, watching the kids play on the lawn, enjoying the shade of a woodland walk or cooling your feet in the stream. Throw in a daily scoop or two of Cornish ice cream, and you've got the holiday of your dreams. If you are looking for more activities, then local attractions include The Eden Project and the Polperro Model Village. Sit by the harbour at Looe, hire a sea kayak, or get an adrenalin rush at Adrenaline Quarry. Kids will love The Monkey Sanctuary and Porfell Wildlife Park and if they misbehave, perhaps a visit to Bodmin Jail will do the trick!
Studio Cottage is available year-round for holiday bookings. Short breaks of 5 nights are possible between September to June, depending on availability, making it a great choice for a quick getaway.

Studio Cottage is a large Cornish stone property standing alone in its own six acres of estate with private steps down to a café and the beach. There is off-road parking for at least six cars. The accommodation is over two levels.

Outside: Studio Cottages faces south and is set alone in 6.5 acres of grounds that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The sea dominates the property and everywhere you go in the garden always offers yet another enchanting vista of the sea. Studio Cottage offers peace, space and tranquillity with both coastal and country walks on the doorstep. There's off-road private parking available for at least six cars
Additional Information: Utilities, Wi-Fi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. Guests to bring beach towels if they are needed. A basket of wood for the log burner is included, with more available to buy locally. No smoking.
