2 Isallt Park is a single-storey holiday cottage in Trearddur Bay, a short walk from the beach, park, cafe, ice-cream shop, and four pubs all serving tasty meals for nights you don't feel like cooking. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms and is on a quiet residential cul-de-sac with no passing traffic. It's ideal for a relaxed self-catering holiday whether you're a couple, a family, or on holiday with friends. Bookings are available all year round to provide you with a comfortable holiday home on the beautiful island of Anglesey.
A holiday on Anglesey is the easiest you'll ever have. The island is separated from mainland Wales by the Menai Strait, which is easy to cross over the beautiful Menai Suspension Bridge. Trearddur Bay is even more of an escape, being on Holy Island off the north west coast. It feels like you're really getting away from it all but you're only half an hour's drive from Bangor. Anglesey's size means that you're rarely more than half an hour's drive from anywhere on the island. You can spend your holiday enjoying the coast and other attractions rather than sitting in a car trying to get there.
Anglesey's beaches are stunning. Trearddur Bay is a wide expanse of sandy shoreline facing calm waters that are ideal for sailing, canoeing and paddle-boarding. There are rock pools to explore at low tide and a paved seafront promenade for walking and cycling around the bay. Other nearby beaches to enjoy include Traeth Borth Wen, Porth Diana Beach and Porth Dafarch. However, with 140 miles of coast, all covered by the circular Anglesey Coast Path, you will always have the perfect place to spread out your beach towel, no matter which way the wind is blowing.
The South Stack Lighthouse, a favourite spot for bird watchers, is close to the cottage, as is the Penrhos Nature Reserve. Other attractions on Anglesey include the spectacular Beaumaris Castle, which was built on the orders of Edward I and is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the less well-known but equally impressive Aberlleiniog Castle. Anglesey has golf courses and gardens, sporting activities and spa days. Because it's relatively flat, there are miles of family-friendly bike rides. You can be as active or lazy as you please - Anglesey caters for everyone.
