CartrefNumber64 is perfect for bringing family and friends together (and also making sure dogs aren’t left out!). Light and spacious, the bungalow offers sleeping accommodation for up to 8 people (plus travel cot) in 4 bedrooms. Everyone can relax together in the main lounge in front of the log burner to enjoy the 50-inch smart TV, board games, and books supplied. A mini-lounge, situated in the large dining room, offers seating for 4 and another 50-inch smart TV, providing an alternate space to the main lounge. Two bi-fold doors (leading out onto the patio) and large windows create a delightful sense of light and space in this room. A large dining table, ideal for board games, cards, or indeed eating together, completes the dining room. The patio contains garden furniture for 8 people to dine outside, overlooking the large, enclosed garden. A generous driveway at the front of the property provides off-road parking for up to 4 cars.

The bungalow is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac affording guests a sense of peace and privacy, although a short walk takes you to the heart of Benllech village. A Co-op, Spar and Tesco Express all lie within a 10–15-minute walk of the property. Benllech also benefits from pleasant restaurants and bars including: Indian Rasoi, Benllech Tandoori, Pebbles Bistro, Beachcomber Bar and Grill, The Breeze Hill and The Benllech, all within a 10-15 minute walk. The closest pub is the dog-friendly Breeze Hill, just a 5-minute stroll away. Benllech is also blessed with two ice cream shops, the closest of which, Harelas, is less than 5 minutes from the bungalow.

Aside from the charms of Benllech itself, the village is also a great base for exploring the surrounding area. For a change of scene beach-wise, Traeth Coch (Red Wharf Bay), Traeth Lligwy and Traeth Llanddona, are all within 5–10-minute drive. Nowhere is terribly far away on the island though and the beaches at Rhosneigr (Traeth Llydan and Traeth Crigyll), Porth Trecastell (Cable Bay), Porth Tywyn Mawr (Sandy Beach) and Bae Trearddur (Trearddur Bay) are well worth a visit.

Pentreath Forest near Traeth Coch (Red Wharf Bay) and Penrhos Coastal Park offer wooded alternatives to beaches, although Penrhos also has a lovely beach, especially if you catch the tide right. Other popular attractions on the island include: the South Stack lighthouse, Anglesey Sea Zoo, The Copper Kingdom, and Plas Newdd House and Gardens. Beaumaris is just a 20-minute car-ride away and boasts Beaumaris Castle (a UNESCO world heritage site), Beaumaris Gaol, artisan shops and galleries, and a pier where you can book a fishing trip or a boat tour to Puffin Island. Keen walkers will find Benllech nicely situated for the Anglesey Coastal Path, and the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) is just a 30-minute drive away. The Llanberis Path, one of the routes up Snowdon, is 35 minutes away in a car.

CartrefNumber64 offers comfortable ground floor living for your family, friends and pets all year round. We pride ourselves on being dog-friendly rather than dog-tolerant so we have no restrictions on the number of dogs you can bring and no additional charges for them. If we know a dog is coming we’ll make sure the dog bed, bowls and tray are out. We’ll also provide a treat and a tennis ball.

The bungalow is centrally heated and benefits from Wi-Fi. Bed linen, towels, tea towels, tea, coffee, washing machine and dishwasher tablets are provided. No smoking is permitted in the bungalow. Please bring beach towels and dog towels if required.

Accommodation comprises:

  • Two King bedrooms, each having a wardrobe and 2 bedside cabinets.
  • Two Twin bedrooms, one of these benefits from an ensuite bathroom, the other a desk and office chair, both have a wardrobe and 2 bedside cabinets.
  • The main lounge contains three sofas providing seating for 8, log burner, 50-inch smart TV, and two bookcases with books and games.
  • The dining room contains a dining table and 8 chairs, two sofas providing seating for 4, and a 50-inch smart TV.
  • The well-equipped kitchen contains an American-style fridge freezer, dishwasher, double oven, induction hob, microwave, sink, food processor, rice cooker, toaster, cafetiere and kettle, alongside a host of cookware, crockery, glassware, and utensils.   • The utility room provides a washing machine, tumble dryer, under-counter fridge, air fryer and sink.
  • The main bathroom provides a shower, WC, and pedestal sink.
  • The ensuite bathroom provides an electric shower, WC, and pedestal sink.
