Welcome to Bryn Lon, a warm and welcoming countryside escape set within a beautifully converted stone barn. Sleeping up to six guests across three ground‑floor bedrooms, this characterful property combines rustic charm with comfortable modern living, making it an ideal choice for families, walkers and groups seeking a relaxed rural break.
Inside Bryn Lon
Step into a spacious flagstone hallway that sets the tone for the cottage’s inviting, traditional feel. The family bathroom is located just off the hall and includes a shower over the bath, toilet and sink. All three bedrooms are also on the ground floor. There are two double bedrooms and one twin room, each featuring exposed wooden beams, wardrobes and dressers, creating a cosy and restful atmosphere.
Head upstairs to discover the bright open‑plan living, dining and kitchen area. Wooden floors, double‑height ceilings and skylights fill the space with natural light. The living area includes two comfortable sofas, a flat‑screen TV and a wood burner, with central heating ensuring comfort throughout the cooler months. The well‑equipped American‑style kitchen and the dining table for eight make the space perfect for shared meals, celebrations and evening catch‑ups over a glass of wine. Please note that there is a low beam in the centre of the room, so a little care is needed.
If you are renting Bryn Lon Mawr as a whole, a connecting door leads through to the kitchen of Bryn Lon Bach. This remains locked when only one cottage is booked.
Outdoor Space
Bryn Lon offers an enclosed rural garden shared with Bryn Lon Bach. The garden includes picnic benches and swings for children, as well as lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Parking for two cars is available at the side of the property.
