With its thick stone walls and traditional slate roof, this 17th-century cottage offers a warm and welcoming base for up to six guests with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's ideal for families or friends looking for a relaxed coastal break, just a short stroll from the shoreline and the popular Ship Inn — perfect for lazy evening meals or a quiet pint by the sea.
Red Wharf Bay is a place where time slows down. The beach stretches for miles at low tide, inviting long walks, bucket-and-spade adventures, and moments of quiet reflection as the tide comes and goes. The Ship Inn is the heart of the village — cosy, friendly, and full of local flavour. A gentle wander along the coast path leads straight to the beach, so you can be on the sand in minutes, whether you're up early for a sunrise walk or heading out after dinner. The bay's sheltered waters make it great for younger children, while older guests might enjoy exploring the winding footpaths along the cliffs.
Anglesey itself is full of variety, from sleepy coves and wide-open beaches to ancient landmarks and family-friendly days out. Benllech is only a short drive away with a handy choice of shops and places to eat, while attractions like Beaumaris Castle and the Anglesey Sea Zoo offer something different if the weather turns. The island's coastal path is a real highlight, running for miles and taking in some of the best scenery in North Wales. And yes, you're close enough to pop over for a photo at the famously long-named train station sign for Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch that's always a hit with first-time visitors.
When you're ready to explore further afield, the mountains of Snowdonia are just across the Menai Strait. It's an easy day trip for anyone wanting to walk or climb and admire the views. From mountain lakes and steam railways to café stops and picnic spots, there's plenty to enjoy before heading back to the coast. Keepers Cottage makes it easy to combine peaceful days by the sea with exciting adventures inland to give you a proper Welsh holiday in every sense.

The enclosed garden has a paved patio and raised decking area and is furnished for outdoor dining and relaxation.
A peaceful rural outlook across the surrounding countryside is a lovely setting for alfresco meals or sundowners. The cottage has off-street parking for two cars.
Additional Information:
Well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement. Gas central heating and Wi-Fi are included, and bed linen and bath towels are provided. Travel cot, highchair, and stairgate available on request.
