Partridge Cottage is a welcoming holiday home on the family-run Magdalen Grange Farm in Gristhorpe near Filey. The arable farm is incredibly peaceful yet wonderfully convenient for footpaths and cycling routes leading through a scenic rural landscape and the Yorkshire Coast. You don't have to choose between open spaces, countryside views and beautiful beaches when you stay at Partridge Cottage for your self-catering holiday. It's all on the doorstep of this lovely cottage which sleeps five people in two bedrooms and is child and pet-friendly.
Magdalen Grange Farm is at the end of a country track with no passing traffic. It's an arable farm, so you'll see tractors in the fields ploughing, sowing, harvesting, and baling, depending on the time of the year. You can walk or cycle along the bridleway between Gristhorpe and Muston, picking up the Wolds Way footpath. Alternatively, follow the Cleveland Way footpaths for stunning views of a timeless landscape. Gristhorpe has a village pub, The Bull Inn, just over half a mile from the cottage with more amenities a few minutes away in Filey.
There's always a great choice of ways to have fun on the Yorkshire Coast, whatever the weather. Within just a few miles of Partridge Cottage are the fantastic seaside resort of Scarborough with a castle, SEA LIFE centre, water park, amusement arcades, and lots more family-friendly attractions. Go back in time at the Scarborough Fair Collection in Lebberston - a superb array of steam engines, carousels and fairground rides from yesteryear. Bondville Model Village opens for spring and summer, and you can't beat a walk to Flamborough Head Lighthouse. Filey lets you enjoy a relaxing day at the seaside without the crowds of Scarborough. With five miles of sand stretching from RSPB Bempton to Filey Brigg, there's space for everyone, including dogs. The North York Moors National Park is only a short drive away, and you're within easy reach of Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and Goathland. York is just over an hour by car.

Partridge Cottage is a light, bright holiday home with accommodation all on ground floor level.
Outside: The cottage has a patio garden with a picnic table and bench seating. There is a barbecue area shared with the farm's other holiday cottage, a place for drying clothes, and allocated parking.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen, bath towels, and an initial provision of fuel for the log burner are included. Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement. The cottage is a non-smoking property.
