Daisy Bank Camp has two styles of dog friendly, hand-built Cabins for you: the Honeycomb Cabins, large glass-fronted Cabins for curling up in and enjoying the views and wildlife from the comfort of your bed and the Stable Cabins, a terrace of ‘Tiny Houses’, ideal for retiring to after a day exploring the wilds of the Calder Valley and the South Pennines. Every Cabin comes with the comforts you need to feel rested including a double bed or sofa bed, stowaway table and chairs, underfloor heating, a micro kitchen (equipped with an induction hob, fridge and combi microwave oven), and a compact wet room and toilet. There’s also private decks and terraces, shared gardens and outdoor seating areas – ideal for stargazing when night falls.
Built by hand, each cabin is named after the birds that fill the air in this precious patch of West Yorkshire; with carefully decorated interiors featuring local artists. The wallpaper is by Hannah Nunn and artwork by Kate Boyce and Julia Ogden, with everything chosen to reflect the birds and the beautiful wilderness they call home.
Daisy Bank Camp is set in the grounds of our family’s permaculture smallholding in Blackshaw Head, West Yorkshire, where we raise rare breed sheep called Soay. We are remote, yes, but also connected: you’ll find us only ten minutes’ drive from Hebden Bridge, Heptonstall and Todmorden. And only 30 minutes from Howarth, home of the Brontës.
From our door you can walk the Calderdale and Pennine Ways or cycle the Sustrans National Route 68. Should you simply want to curl up with a book alongside the butterflies, birds and deer that live alongside us, be our guest. Think of us as your breathing space from everyday life and you won’t go far wrong

With its pastel blues and whites, much like the shimmering feathers of the lapwing, this cosy cabin sits at the south end of our stable block. In the morning, swing open the half-glazed stable door and see the sunrise with a fresh cup of Yorkshire tea in hand.
There’s a large seating area outside, alongside a terraced garden, for cloud watching under vast skies. Inside, the space is intimate and self-contained with a double sofa bed, stowaway table and chairs, underfloor heating, a micro kitchen (equipped with an induction hob, fridge and combi microwave oven), as well as a neat wet room and toilet.
