Formerly an old farm building, Egton Cottage has been tastefully refurbished to offer comfortable and cosy holiday accommodation that includes full central heating, kitchen facilities and a large lawned area outside.
The holiday cottage is one of a small group of cottages situated at Lambert Hill Farm in Ruswarp and provides a delightful relaxing base for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors with its many attractions and activities.
The village of Ruswarp is an ideal base for those who enjoy walking, fishing, rowing, canoeing, horse riding or golf and it is positioned on a steep hill that winds its way down to the north bank of the River Esk. It is just one and a half miles from the historic fishing port of Whitby with its beautiful beach which provides the ideal place for children to play, bathe or simply relax in the sun.
Just inland is the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park which provides endless opportunities for those who enjoy walking and outdoor activities or who simply want to take in the stunning scenery.

Additional information: No pets and no smoking. Short breaks available (three night minimum). Gas central heating throughout and included in the price, along with electricity and bed linen. Off road parking available. There is a large lawn area and a sheltered courtyard where you can sit. Shop and pub are within a twenty minutes walk. Please note that in the event of heavy snow during the winter, the cottage may only be inaccessible on foot and cars may need to be parked at the bottom of the track.
