The Gallery is a bold, welcoming space where you can relax with your favourite people. With loads of space indoors and outside, the Grade II listed Georgian beauty comfortably accommodates up to 20 (18+2) people in five bedrooms with a long, 30-foot reception room that was designed for socialising and having fun! The Gallery is in the lively Hampshire town of Gosport, a few minutes' walk from excellent amenities yet far enough from the centre to afford guests peace and privacy. Hot tub hire is possible - please speak to the owner regarding this and associated costs.
Gosport is the perfect place for a holiday or weekend away with family or friends. There's always something happening whether it's one of the regular twice-weekly markets every Tuesday and Saturday, or the annual Waterfront Festival held at the end of July. The town always has a warm buzz about it. Even sitting on the waterfront looking at the boats on the Solent is a pleasure. Gosport has a rich naval heritage which is celebrated in the displays at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum and the Museum of Naval Firepower. There is also an award-winning Museum of Diving and the Hovercraft Museum, while the Gosport Discovery Centre has a changing array of exhibitions.
Together with nearby Lee-on-the-Solent, Gosport has an impressive 24 miles of coastline. Spend days lazing on the beach or yachting on the Solent. Local businesses and marinas offer what is probably the widest array of water sports that include windsurfing, kite surfing, paddle-boarding, canoeing, jet-skiing, fishing and sailing. There is also a wide array of footpaths around the coast and through the countryside, and an exciting network of cycling routes to help make exploration even more enjoyable.
From Gosport, it's only a short ferry journey to Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quays. Southampton and Winchester are both less than an hour's drive, as is Paulton Park and Peppa Pig World.

The Gallery is an elegant Georgian property with original features, spacious rooms and lots of natural light. Accommodation is over two floors with the living space on the ground floor and the bedrooms upstairs:

Outside: The owners have given as much thought to space outside as to the interior. Mature plants provide shade and privacy, there is a trampoline, a terrace with a barbecue and seating, and the potential to hire a hot tub (please speak to the owner for further details). The driveway has ample parking.
Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. A travel cot (no bedding) is available on request. The Gallery is pet friendly and we warmly welcome up to 3 medium sized well behaved four legged friends at an additional cost of £25 each per dog, per week/part week. (However, to be fair to our neighbours no continuous barkers please). Short breaks are possible all year round, depending on availability. The Gallery is a non-smoking property.
In addition to the rental cost there is a £500 refundable damages deposit, which is fully refundable within 7 working days of your departure, obviously subject to no significant damages or excessive cleaning.
