Coach House is a captivating mix of old and new, with lots of space for up to ten people to sleep in four lovely bedrooms. The modern home sits in the grounds of a Grade II listed Georgian villa, and the two properties can be booked independently or together to sleep up to 27 friends or extended family members. The location in Gosport is ideal for any holiday whether you're after action and adventure, culture and history, or fantastic nightlife and restaurants. Cafes, shops, the Gosport ferry terminal, and the White Hart pub are all within walking distance. Hot tub hire can be arranged if required - please speak to the owner.
The Hampshire town of Gosport is a favourite holiday destination now but, to the Georgians and Victorians, it was one of the most important defensive naval sites on the south coast, as can be seen from places like Fort Blockhouse, Fort Monckton and Fort Gilkicker. Those with interest in naval history will love the opportunity to visit the Royal Navy Submarine Museum and Explosion! The Museum of Naval Firepower. You can walk between the two sites along the two-mile Waterfront Trail which overlooks the Solent and Portsmouth Harbour.
Watersports are always popular in Gosport. Visitors can go sailing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, paddle boarding, jet skiing and kayaking, just for starters. Set your deck chair up on beaches like Lee-on-the-Solent, Hill Head or Stokes Bay, or hire a bike and explore the gorgeous Hampshire countryside.
The sights and attractions of Portsmouth are only a short ferry trip away. Wander down to the Gosport Ferry which runs every 15-minutes, taking visitors over the water to Portsmouth's shops, restaurants, museums and nightlife. Winchester and Southampton are both under an hour's drive, as is Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World.
Coach House is available for short breaks and longer stays all year round so, no matter whether you're escaping for a few days or have longer to enjoy yourself, you'll find it a welcoming home-away-from-home.
The owners have an adjoining holiday cottage, Bury Villa, which sleeps up to 18 guests. The two properties can be booked together to accommodate larger groups of friends or extended families. Please see their website for details.

Outside: Private enclosed gardens at the rear of the house have a lawn, patio and a barbecue area with seating. There is off-street parking for up to four cars on the driveway. It is possible to hire a hot tub for the duration of your stay -please speak to the owner for further details.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are all provided. A travel cot (no bedding), highchair and stairgate are all available on request. The Coach House is pet friendly and we warmly welcome up to 3 medium sized well behaved four legged friends at an additional cost of £25 each per dog, per week/part week. (However, to be fair to our neighbours no continuous barkers please). Short breaks are possible, depending on availability. Smoking is not permitted.
In addition to the rental cost there is a £500 refundable damages deposit, which is fully refundable within 7 working days of your departure, obviously subject to no significant damages or excessive cleaning.
