Mountain View is a huge holiday home for groups of up to 55 guests in a fantastic location on the North Wales coast. This massive property offers loads of space close to the centre of popular Penmaenmawr village and within walking distance of the beach and promenade as well as shops and cafes. With 17 spacious bedrooms (including one enormous bunk room sleeping 14 which is great for the kids and one 'dorm' room sleeping 4)) and lots of space for socialising and relaxing indoors and out, it ticks all of the boxes for a fun-filled holiday for extended families and groups of friends.
Penmaenmawr is a brilliant choice for a holiday, especially if you have a group of mixed ages to entertain or a party of energetic people who can't and won't sit still. Not only does it have a gorgeous beach with a long stretch of sand, but there is also a skate park, promenade, playground, golf club and sailing club all nearby. If that isn't enough to satisfy the need for adventure, the border of Snowdonia National Park is less than a mile from Mountain View, and beautiful Anglesey is half an hour's drive from the door. Visitors can walk for miles along the coastal footpath, climb Wales' highest peak (or take the easy route via the Snowdon Mountain Railway), choose a new beach to enjoy every day, and explore roads and wilderness via a vast network of cycle paths and mountain bike trails.
This region is not only perfect for active lovers of the great outdoors. It is also a delight for foodies and a place of fascination for history buffs. Start with the well-curated Penmaenmawr Museum before taking the short drive to Conwy Castle or Caernarfon Castles. Together with the fortifications at Harlech and Beaumaris on Anglesey, these castles are Edward I's "Iron Ring" and are as imposing today as they were when constructed almost a thousand years ago. Feed big appetites by stocking up at a local market like nearby Colwyn Bay farmers' market, which runs every Thursday. For special occasions, book a table at Michelin chef, Bryn Williams' restaurant at Porth Eiras.
Whatever time of year you choose to visit, Mountain View offers a warm welcome for you, your family and your friends with enough space for people to spend time together and also have quiet time apart.

In line with best practice we have, sadly, removed all toys/books/DVDs/soft furnishings/miscellaneous paraphernalia from all our properties. In order to safeguard our housekeepers and reduce risk for subsequent clients we respectfully request that ALL rubbish is removed to the outside bins and all beds are stripped before checkout. We hope you understand and support the common sense logic behind this, more spartan, approach in these uncertain times.
