About Foxes

Foxes offers guests an authentic beach home from home experience. The cottage sits in half an acre of private gardens with direct access to the South West Coastal Footpath and beautiful Treyarnon Bay. If you yearn for a beachfront holiday home with nothing to interrupt far-reaching ocean views, you will find it here. With space for up to eight people to sleep in five bedrooms and the friendly Tredeara Inn within walking distance, Foxes is ideal for families and friends.

Treyarnon Bay is a beautiful sheltered beach in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its a favourite with families for its sandy shore, natural rock pool, beach shop and lifeguards on duty, while a consistent break makes it popular with surfers. It's possible to walk around to neighbouring Constantine Bay, so there's always enough space to set up your deck chair and enjoy the sunshine, even at the height of summer when other Cornish beaches are at their busiest.

Padstow is about five miles north of the cottage. Despite its popularity as not only a holiday location but also a fine dining destination, the working fishing port retains a relaxed air and is one of the best places to sample fresh seafood in the South-West. The Camel Trail cycle route runs between Padstow and Wadebridge, and there is bike hire available in town for guests who don't have their own wheels. Take the ferry from Padstow to Rock for even more beautiful beaches and sensational views, try your hand at beach fishing or play a round of golf at Trevose Golf Course overlooking the sea. There are so many ways to enjoy being outdoors and active whatever the time of year you visit.

Local attractions include Poldark Mine, Lands End, the Eden Project, Flambards Theme Park, the World of Model Railways, National Trust Properties, museums and galleries.

Accommodation Comprises:

Foxes is a very comfortable detached home with accommodation over two levels. There is no through traffic thanks to its location set back from a private road.

Downstairs:

Hallway.
Open-plan living area with space to cook, dine and relax. The sitting area has a corner sofa where guests can stretch out and relax at the end of a busy day, along with a working fireplace, TV and a music system. The cottage also has WiFi throughout.
The kitchen/dining area has lots of space to store and prepare food with fitted cupboards full of all the equipment, utensils, crockery and cutlery needed for a self-catering holiday with family and friends. Multi-aspect windows look out on to the garden and coast and add to the sense of light and space.
Double bedroom with wardrobe, bedside table and wash basin.
Second living space in the conservatory with stunning coastal views and comfortable seating. It's a fantastic place to enjoy your morning cup of tea or a glass of wine in the evening while you watch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.
Shower room with a walk-in shower, WC and a handbasin.
Separate WC and a handbasin.
Utility room with a sink, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. This room is a convenient place to dry coats and boots.

Upstairs:

A solid wood staircase leads to the upstairs landing off which are four lovely bedrooms and a family bathroom.
Two of the four bedrooms are doubles with views of the beach and ocean. One has a king-size bed (this room also has a handbasin) whilst the other has a standard double.
The remaining two bedrooms are both spacious twin rooms, each with two single beds and decor that suits guests of any age. One of the rooms also has sea views, while the other overlooks the lawn at the rear of the cottage.

Outside: Foxes has a private garden which is mainly lawn and slopes gently towards the beach. It is safe for children and pets to play. There are two picnic tables for lazy summer meals outside, and off street parking for four cars. Barbeque and surf boards in the shed.

Additional Information: All utilities, including WiFi and heating (via electric radiators) are included. Bed linen and hand towels are provided but please bring bath towels and beach towels. Well behaved pets are welcome through prior arrangement with the owner. Smoking is not permitted.
