About Field View Cottage

Field View Cottage is a charming holiday cottage located in a small farming community in Cornwall. It accommodates two to four guests and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet perfectly located in a central position for visiting Cornwall's many attractions. Here you will find a warm welcome from the resident hosts who are on hand to ensure your holiday is a pleasurable one.

The cottage welcomes dogs (three or two if they are medium/large), has secure off road parking and single level access into the accommodation. Sitting in four acres of grounds, the cottage is surrounded by farmland with lots of lovely country walks to enjoy and is close to both the sea and moorland.

From the cottage front door, you can enjoy fantastic walks to Siblyback Lake (great for bird-watching, sailing and fly fishing), the Hurlers stone circles, Golitha Falls and the Cheesewring rock formations. Close at hand there are a good selection of excellent pubs for a meal out and a farm shop.

If you want a trip to the seaside, the cottages are just twelve miles from the Cornish coast at Looe with its beautiful safe sandy beaches and the South-West Coastal Path. Polperro, Fowey and spectacular Whitsand Bay are also nearby.

There are so many popular attractions within easy driving distance. The renowned Eden Project is forty minutes away as are the world-famous Lost Gardens of Heligan and many National Trust properties including Lanhydrock House and Gardens, Trerice and medieval Cotehele. The hot spots of the North coast are also a similar distance including Port Isaac, Padstow and Tintagel.

Field View Cottage has lots of rustic character with a vaulted ceiling adding to the sense of space in the bedroom.

Accommodation comprises:

Ground floor

Sitting room with patio doors giving access to the lovely garden and countryside views.
Sofa-bed in the lounge providing additional sleeping for two guests if needed
Well-equipped kitchen / dining area.
Bathroom with free-standing Victorian style bath with shower attachment, WC and wash basin.
Patio doors in the lounge and stable door in the rear hall lead to your own garden.

Upstairs

Delightful twin bedroom with two single beds.

Outside: There is a parking space close to the cottage (literally a few steps from the front door), BBQ for enjoying alfresco meals and an area for walking dogs located immediately behind the cottage.

Additional information: Travel cot and high chair available on request. Electric heating throughout at no extra charge. Short breaks available on request. Dogs are welcome free of charge (three or two if they are medium/large) and there is a field especially set aside for dog walking.
