2 Penmayne Cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms and is only a gentle stroll through fields from one of Cornwall's best beaches. It's at the end of a private lane, so there's no passing traffic, and you're also within walking distance of a fish and chip shop, a village store, and the excellent Malcolm Barnecutt bakery and deli, where they have been feeding hungry residents and visitors of Rock for nearly 100 years. This Cornwall holiday cottage is ideal for couples, but because the second bedroom has zip-link beds that can either be two singles or one superking, it is also great for families and friends.
Rock has a reputation as the St Tropez of Cornwall because of the calibre of visitors it attracts. Don't be surprised to see someone you recognise from the TV or big screen as you sun yourself on the beach or sip a Cornwall gin and tonic in a local bar. However famous the face, it's nowhere near as gorgeous as the beach and coastline, the view over the Camel Estuary to Padstow, or the view from the South West Coast Path between Daymer Bay and Polzeath. Although the kitchen at 2 Penmayne Cottage is fully equipped for a self-catering Cornwall holiday, you may find it hard to resist the temptation of so many super pubs and restaurants in the area, many of which have water views.
The North Coast of Cornwall is inviting in all seasons. Rugged cliffs, surfing beaches, fishing harbours, and artist colonies give this area a unique vibe which doesn't dim even if the sun is hiding. Take the kids for a relaxed bucket and spade holiday, or book a romantic break full of stunning sights and fabulous views. With local attractions that include Tintagel Castle, Pencarrow House and Garden, and haunted Bodmin Jail, there is lots to appeal to everyone.

2 Penmayne Cottage is a pretty stone cottage with private gardens and accommodation on two levels. With ample parking for 2 cars.

Outside: The cottage has a patio out the front with lovely pots and flowers and a bistro set, the mature garden to the rear, letting you move with the sunshine throughout the day. In the back garden we have informal and formal seating, a barbecue, and private fully enclosed garden. We have a large gravel parking area suitable for 2 cars.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and hand & bath towels are included when you hire 2 Penmayne Cottage. The cottage is a non-smoking property. Pets are welcome, but owners must bring pet beds to lay/sleep in as we do not allow pets on sofas or beds.
