Welcome to Weavers Rest – your cosy Skipton hideaway
Set on a quiet street just off the heart of central Skipton, Weavers Rest is a beautifully restored, ground-floor boutique apartment in a Victorian townhouse (circa 1850). Perfect for a romantic break or a restful base for exploring Yorkshire, it offers a blend of stylish comfort and characterful touches. With a super-king bed (which can also be configured as twin beds), a stylish living area and a luxurious bathroom, this one-bedroom retreat accommodates up to two guests. The property also includes a secluded courtyard garden, secure bike storage a private parking space — a rare find so close to all that Skipton has to offer.
Step outside your door, and you’re just a minute’s walk from Skipton’s vibrant market square, full of independent shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. Explore the town, meander along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, or visit the medieval Skipton Castle with its peaceful woodland walks. The compact layout of the town means you can leave the car and explore on foot. The bus stops and railway station (with connections to Leeds, Bradford, Lancaster and more) are also within easy walking distance, making Weavers Rest a great choice whether you arrive by car or public transport.
Venturing a little further afield, you are perfectly placed to explore the Yorkshire Dales, the rolling hills and valleys just beyond Skipton. Whether you head north to Bolton Abbey, up to the rugged landscapes of Malham and the Three Peaks, or eastwards across to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, there’s so much to discover. For day trips, visit the scenic beauty of Bolton Abbey, the dramatic moors around Ilkley, or the market towns of Settle and Grassington. After your day’s adventures, return to the quiet cosiness of Weavers Rest to unwind.
