Welcome to Spinners View – a beautifully renovated Skipton retreat with historic charm
Tucked away on a peaceful street in the very centre of Skipton, Spinners View is a stylish boutique duplex apartment set within an impressive stone-built Victorian townhouse dating back to around 1850. Thoughtfully restored to celebrate its heritage, the apartment blends original features such as exposed beams and vaulted ceilings with contemporary comfort and elegant design. Ideal for couples or friends, Spinners View accommodates up to four guests in two luxurious king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite. A stylish lounge and dining space, fully equipped kitchen, generous main bathroom and a private courtyard garden make this a welcoming and well-appointed home from home. The addition of private parking for two cars is a rare and valuable feature in central Skipton.
Step outside and within a minute you’ll find yourself immersed in Skipton’s lively market town atmosphere, with its independent shops, cafés, traditional pubs and excellent restaurants. Enjoy gentle strolls along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, explore the historic grounds of Skipton Castle, or wander the surrounding woodland walks — all easily accessible on foot, allowing you to leave the car behind. The town’s railway station and frequent local bus services are within easy walking distance, offering convenient connections whether you arrive by car or public transport.
For those keen to explore further, Spinners View is perfectly positioned as a base for discovering the Yorkshire Dales. Drive out to the charming villages of Grassington and Kettlewell, admire the dramatic limestone scenery of Malham Cove, Gordale Scar and Kilnsey Crag, or venture further afield to Bolton Abbey, Ilkley, Hawes or Settle for memorable day trips. After a day of fresh air and adventure, return to the calm comfort of Spinners View — a stylish sanctuary at the heart of Skipton.
