Bramblewick Cottage is a charming holiday home located in the unspoilt village of Fearby in the Yorkshire Dales. Accommodating four guests in two bedrooms, it is ideal for friends, families or couples looking for a peaceful rural retreat. The traditional stone cottage is full of character, including the ancient stone lintel fireplace which now houses a wood burning stove, yet it has all the modern appliances such as a Smart TV and mini HiFi to make your self-catering holiday as comfortable as possible.
Located within the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and with fantastic walks from the front door, this is the perfect base for exploring the great outdoors. Whether you like to walk, cycle, or just meander through historic villages, you will discover open moorland, beautiful parklands and ancient woods. Take a trip to the breathtaking waterfalls at Aysgarth or explore the fascinating ruins at Jervaulx Abbey. Alternatively, you can while away the day simply relaxing and soaking up the views from the south-facing garden or have a go at bird spotting from the kitchen window.
Just a short walk up the road you will find The Black Swan Pub – the perfect spot for an evening meal or a post-walk drink! Or just two miles away you can discover the independent shops and tearooms in the pretty market town of Masham. A little further afield you will find the market towns of Bedale and Leyburn, both of which have stations on the Wensleydale heritage railway. Further still, and you will discover the attractive small town of Hawes, where the famous Wensleydale cheese is made. If you are after something a little bit different, you can explore secret underground chambers at The Forbidden Corner or walk round the ruins of Middleham Castle, where Richard III lived as a boy.
Adventure seekers can try their hand at rock climbing, abseiling or pot holing or you can treat the kids to a day out at Lightwater Valley Theme Park. Whatever you decide to do on holiday, Bramblewick Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat to return home to at the end of the day.

Outside: The small front garden is an ideal spot for guests to enjoy a morning coffee on the south-facing bench, whilst the patio at the rear of the property is perfect for an al-fresco lunch or a pre-dinner drink.
Additional information: Price includes bed-linen and towels, unlimited fast fibre WiFi, electricity and central heating. Logs for the wood burning stove are provided for the first night. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome at no extra charge. Strictly non-smoking.
