Barden Bunk Barn provides an excellent venue for large parties of eight to eighteen guests and is ideal for friends, families, walkers, cyclists and corporate team building events.
Formerly stables, the barn now offers practical accommodation for you to return home to after an exciting day of outdoor activities or exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Sitting on the Bolton Abbey Estate with the majestic ruins of Barden Tower keeping a watchful eye over it, the barn nestles in Upper Wharfedale and is on the same site as the Priests House function venue.
Grade I listed, the building is one of the most historically important of its kind in the Dales and offers easy access to miles of moorland, wooded and riverside paths. The views from the property are simply stunning, beckoning you to put on your walking boots and get out exploring!
Wander along the River Wharfe to Bolton Abbey with its impressive ruins that have been managed by the Devonshire family since 1755. A major attraction of the area, there are plenty of events running throughout the year and limitless space for relaxing, playing and walking, as well as tea rooms for refreshments.
The ancient market town of Skipton is a short drive away. Steeped in history, it attracts people from far and wide and has much appeal with its historic castle that is nine hundred years old, excellent market (which takes place four days a week), cobbled high street packed full of interesting shops and priory ruins. Spectacular Malham Cove (used as a filmset in the Harry Potter films) is also within easy reach, as is the market town of Grassington, the Spa town of Ilkley and Harrogate.
With stunning scenery on the doorstep and an abundance of attractions within easy reach, there is plenty to see and do around Barden Bunk Barn to cater for the whole party.
