Nordham Cottages are nestled in quiet, picturesque villages of Nordham and Hotham. VE4-5* decorated in cottage style, warm and inviting, offering homely and comfortable accommodation for families and couples. Sunny gardens with tables and chairs for relaxed eating. Off-road parking for 1 car (except Ruth's) and free on street parking in front. Bring your bikes! There’s outbuildings to store them. Central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels included. So much to offer in this beautiful part of the world, with countryside and stream-side walks towards the Wolds Way, direct from the door. The Wetlands Bird Sanctuary is very nearby, to enjoy the sunset as well as the birdlife. ‘Tour de Yorkshire’ cycling on the quiet Wolds roads for enthusiasts, with plenty of routes to enjoy. Fishing, diving, kayaking available in the village, and clay pigeon shooting nearby. Little Wold Vineyard in South Cave runs wine tasting tours arranged via their website. For families, award winning William’s Den in North Cave is highly recommended for adventure play and, the village playground in Nordham is a short walk, with the stream for pooh sticks on the way! Don’t forget to bring your children’s bikes/scooters for the quiet route through parkland. Love the countryside? Head for Drewton Dale and other Wolds Way destinations. Love gardening? NGS garden in Nordham and two garden centres in North Cave. Ask Louise what's on offer from her veg patch and if you are looking for speciality foods, Drewtons Farm shop very nearby, specialises in fresh local foods, popular for food shopping and their award-winning restaurant. The very popular Hotham Arms, a short walk through the park from Nordham or virtually on the door step in Hotham. Other pubs serving food are in South Cave, Ellerker, Newbald and Sancton, all just over 3 miles away. Good supermarkets nearby with an array for foodies in Beverley. Situated just two miles from the M62, Nordham Cottages are easy to get to, and well located to explore the area. We're close to the market towns of Beverley, Market Weighton, and Pocklington and Howden, all charming and full of character. Historic Hull, city of culture in 2017, is only 20 minutes, York is 50 minutes, both offer many different enjoyable experiences. We're also 'close to coast' for a walk on the beach and fish and chips! Nordham Cottages have been short-listed several times in the Remarkable Self-Catering Provider, and The Accessible category, for East Yorkshire’s Tourism Awards: we aim to give you our best.
