The Greenway is a gorgeous holiday house in a beautiful location close to the borders of Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. It's in the quiet hamlet of Knaptoft, with relaxing walks through beautiful countryside accessible from the door. The ground floor property is at Knaptoft House Farm, a hamlet of four properties. The owners are not resident but live nearby. The Greenway is huge, sleeping eight people in four well-appointed bedrooms, three with ensuite bathrooms, and a layout that suits families and friends. It's perfect for a holiday and ideal if you are in the area to attend a wedding or family event or need somewhere welcoming and comfortable to stay while you're working or relocating. It is also a great choice if you just want to get away and catch-up with friends.
Knaptoft is a tranquil rural hamlet with rolling countryside views. It is most notable for the pretty village church of St Nicolas, left in ruins by Oliver Cromwell's soldiers after the Battle of Naseby in 1645. The church is only a short walk from The Greenway with other local footpaths leading to Bruntingthorpe, Shearsby and Mowsley. The Leicestershire Round at Shearsby is also within easy reach.
Drive a tank at Armourgeddon, admire the narrowboats and ten impressive locks at Foxton, and enjoy panoramic views at Rockingham Castle. Kilworth House's open-air theatre is a summertime treat. Other local attractions include Wistow Maze, the Gliding Centre at Husbands Bosworth, Stanford Hall, Bird on the Hand, the National Space Centre, and the King Richard III Visitor Centre. There are local schools for cookery, photography, and watercolour painting, allowing you to develop existing skills or learn new ones during your stay. Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground & Events, Leicester University, the NEC at Birmingham, and IOSH Centre are all within easy reach.

Outside: The Greenway has gardens to the front and rear with lots of lawn for playing games, quiet areas for sitting with a glass of wine and listening to the birds, and a patio with furniture for outdoor meals. The lovely rural views are just what you need to de-stress and unwind. There is off-street parking.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are all included. A highchair and cot are also available. The owner regrets they cannot accommodate pets. Smoking is not permitted.
