Woodfield Farm is a superb holiday home with space for up to 16 people to sleep in seven bedrooms and lots of luxurious touches on all three floors. Not only is this beautiful farmhouse spacious and stylish, but its eco-friendly credentials have been recognised with a Green Tourism Gold Award. The extensive grounds, fantastic views, and a location close to Ribchester village make this an excellent choice for spending time with family and friends or celebrating a milestone event.
Ribchester is a gorgeous village with roots going back to the Romans. There are ruins of the Roman fort, Bremetennacum, under the church as well as the remains of Roman baths and a well-curated Roman museum. It is in the very heart of the Ribble Valley - a place so beautiful it almost brings a tear to the eye, named for the River Ribble which flows from the mountains of North Yorkshire and past Preston before emptying into the Irish Sea. The area is made up of vast swathes of countryside punctuated with picturesque towns and villages such as Whalley and Longdridge, both of which are a few miles from the house.
Make good use of the variety of footpaths and cycling routes that lead through this stunning landscape to iconic sights such as the Ribblehead viaduct, or stroll through country houses and gardens like nearby Clitheroe. Places to see include Stonyhurst College, Beacon Fell, Bowland Wild Boar Park, Mrs Dowson's Open Farm and Brockholes Nature Reserve. There are several golf courses and driving ranges close by, spas and adventure playgrounds - something for everyone, regardless of their age or the season.
For those happy to travel further afield, the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks are within easy reach by car for a day trip, opening up an even larger choice of attractions and opportunities for outdoor adventure.
Woodfield Farm is perfect for getting together with your favourite people to celebrate a milestone birthday, Christmas or other special occasions. Many couples book it as accommodation for their bridal parties or out-of-town relatives to stay for their wedding, appreciating the myriad of thoughtful touches that make Woodfield Farm such a wonderful place to stay.

Outdoors: The grounds of Woodfield Farm include a patio with garden furniture and a covered outdoor hot tub. There is plenty of off-road parking at the front of the cottage.
Additional Information: All utilities, bed linen, bath sheets and WiFi are included. A travel cot (no bedding) and high chair are included. The owner regrets that they cannot accept pets. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the property.
