Green Woodpecker Lodge with Jacuzzi and Kayak, is a holiday home for all seasons. The pretty waterfront Lake House has been recently renovated and decorated in a contemporary, open plan New England style that feels fresh and inviting - exactly what you want from your Cotswold Water Park holiday cottage. The Lodge sleeps six people in three bedrooms with a versatile layout. The beds can be configured to be king or single' (Ts & Cs). The master bedroom is a superking bed with en-suite, a walk in shower, and a separate family bathroom with bath and shower. Start your day with breakfast on the deck, followed by hours of fun on the water, cycling, walking and enjoying Cotswold attractions, before ending the evening with a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub. It sounds like heaven, doesn't it? Pamper packages available include prosecco, cake and robes from £5 pp based on 6 adults). These are included in 7 night Summer Holiday/Christmas/New Year bookings.
Even though it's a massive 40-square mile nature reserve with over 150 lakes, the Cotswold Water Park feels desirable and exclusive. Green Woodpecker Lodge faces Isis Lake and is within walking distance of the Boathouse Restaurant and the pubs and village shop in South Cerney. Amenities within a short stroll include three outdoor tennis courts (one of which is floodlit), an adventure playground, a multi-purpose games area with football goals, and an indoor games room with table football, a pool table and other games. Seasonal water sports, including sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding and water skiing are available on lakes locally with equipment hire (for a fee). Fish for carp, hire a kayak or a paddle-board to explore nearby Windrush Lake from the water, or settle back with your binoculars to count how many species of birds thrive in this peaceful and protected environment.
The Cotswold Water Park is only a few miles from the exciting town of Cirencester, Capital of the Cotswolds, known for its weekly markets and Roman heritage. Other places to visit include Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Lechlade, and Moreton in Marsh. The STEAM Great Western Railway Museum and McArthur Glen Designer Shopping Outlet are only nine miles away in Swindon, while Marlborough, Bath, Cheltenham and Gloucester are all under an hour's drive, and there are lots of other sights and attractions within a small radius.
There's a reason people return to the Cotswold Water Park year after year - it's just so easy to have a fun and relaxing holiday. There is even a small beach area for the young ones to enjoy with a bucket and spade. Green Woodpecker Lodge suits guests of all ages and is available for bookings all year round.

It is finished and furnished to a high standard, with beds made up for the arrival of guests and bath towels provided. A welcome starter pack with tea, coffee, biscuits. A Nespresso machine is available for use. A pamper package is available to make your stay extra special which includes a bottle of prosecco, cake and robes from £5 pp based on 6 adults.
