Primrose Cottage is a lovely cottage in a gorgeous location just over a mile from beautiful Perranporth Beach on the North Cornwall coast, and within walking distance of the friendly Whitehouse Inn and the village church in Perranzabuloe. The pretty stone cottage has loads of charm and space to sleep up to four people in two bedrooms. It is perfect for couples, families or friends who want a comfortable and welcoming base from which to explore some of Cornwall's favourite sights.
Perranporth is fantastic, with three glorious miles of sandy shore backed by rolling countryside. It is on the northern border of the St Agnes Heritage Coast, and there are some stunning walks in the area, including along the famous South West Coast Path. Cycling and mountain biking are also popular ways to explore, and there is lots of scope for bird watchers and nature lovers in every season. An excellent trail to start with is the Callestick and Ventongimps Circular Walk. The footpath starts in a nearby nature reserve and passes through the grounds of the former West Chyveton Mine - once a significant producer of silver, zinc and lead and now a riot of wildflowers and a haven for butterflies.
Local attractions include Holywell Bay, Crantock Beach, the Eden Project and Newquay Zoo. Truro is within easy reach for shopping, eating out and sightseeing, as is St Ives, with its fantastic art galleries and seafood restaurants. Slightly further afield but still within an hour of the cottage are Land's End, Penzance, Mousehole, and Lizard Point. The location of Primrose Cottage is perfect for exploring far and wide without having to spend hours getting to beaches and attractions.
Cornwall is an excellent year-round holiday destination as it has an enormous variety of things do to and see. Its landscape is stunning in every season and Primrose Cottage is a wonderful place from which to enjoy it all.
