Ruby Farmhouse Holiday Cottages offer a choice of three lovely character self-catering cottages that are ideally placed in a super position for exploring South West Cornwall.
Located on the edge of a peaceful village, in a secluded position, sits the Farmhouse with three traditional granite Cornish cottages dating back some two hundred and fifty years. Each one has a unique charm, along with its own hidden, peaceful garden where you can relax.
The local Cornish pub is a short stroll away where you can enjoy some home cooked food using local produce or alternatively stay put on the patio and barbecue. All cottages welcome a dog and with a choice of three cottages, parties of two to twelve (when rented together) can be accommodated. Kernyk Cottage is featured within this advert and sleeps four guests in two bedrooms; Ruby Cottage sleeps five guests in three bedrooms and Dingley Cottage is a cosy cottage ideal for couples (although there is room for three) with its own private patio area.
Sitting on the edge of Porkellis village, the holiday cottages provide a perfect base for exploring South West Cornwall and its many attractions. Within twenty minutes you can access the South or North Cornish Coastal Path and take in the stunning coastal scenery and sea air. If you prefer to cycle then the Bissoe Cycle Trail may be of interest and can be picked up within twenty minutes of the cottages.
Attractions are endless with something to suit all ages. The attractive seaside town of Falmouth is just twenty minutes away with shops, pubs, beautiful beaches and boat trips to St Mawes, Trelissick Garden and The Helford. You can go sailing and try water sports, at places like Mylor Quay or Stithians Lake or visit pretty fishing villages such as Port Isaac (one hour away), well known for the television programme Doc Martin.
