Granary Cottage is in the pretty rural hamlet of Rosecare on the North Cornwall coast. It's ideal for enjoying the sights and attractions for which this area is famous, being within easy reach of a host of friendly towns and villages with fantastic walks - including over the fields to connect to the South West Coast Path - from the door. The peace is sublime, yet you're only two miles from Crackington Haven and other incredible beaches. The self-catering holiday rental is a ground-floor apartment sleeping four people in two bedrooms and is ideal for couples and families.
Rosecare is a community of farms and houses in a gorgeous location looking towards the Atlantic Ocean. It's in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in recognition of some of Britain's most breathtaking beaches and dramatic coastline, with the cliffs at Crackington Haven towering 735 feet high. The beach is a mix of sand and shingle, and it's a good spot for less experienced surfers as the swell is smaller than nearby Widemouth Bay and Bude. National Trust Sandymouth and Northcott beaches tend not to get as busy as Newquay, Polzeath, and Trebarwith Sand. However, you can't go wrong as the views are always spectacular no matter which beach you choose to set up your deck chair. Walkers will appreciate the beautiful footpaths like those to St Genny's historic medieval church and Cambeak.
It's easy to see why this area has a history steeped in myth and mystery when you visit places like Tintagel Castle and Merlin's Cave, the Museum of Witchcraft next to Boscastle Harbour, or dine at Jamaica Inn, a popular smugger's hideout on Bodmin Moor in the 1700s. Other local attractions are the filming locations for "Doc Martin" at Port Isaac, National Trust Lanhydrock House, the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, and the Camel Valley Vineyard.
Granary Cottage dates from the 18th Century and has original stone walls and oak beams. It has a sunny courtyard with patio furniture and thoughtful extras like bodyboards, buckets and spades to help you make the most of every day.

Granary Cottage is a newly refurbished ground-floor apartment decorated in a modern coastal theme. There is a slight uphill slope from the parking space to the front door, but accommodation is on one level once inside.
Outside: The cottage has a courtyard terrace with a table and chairs by the front door. There is off-street parking.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included in the cottage rental. A travel cot is available. Guests to supply beach towels and cot bedding if required. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not permitted on site.
