Fully renovated by traditional craftsmen in 2025, and blending character and original features with comfort, stylish interiors and high quality furnishings, 1 Wellington Place is perfect for couples or families seeking a memorable and luxury Cornish getaway.
Step through the door and you'll discover a light and airy living room with elegant furnishings, exposed ceiling beams, wooden floor and a large inglenook fireplace housing a wood burning stove. This opens into a separate dining kitchen equipped with premium range cooker and appliances, exposed granite walls, seating for 4 and French doors opening onto a lovely sunny courtyard (a rarity in Mousehole).
There is also a separate cozy Snug, again with wooden floors, a beamed celling and an original window seat. This room also offers an antique bureau and full-fibre broadband connection for those who may need to work whilst away.
Tucked in a quiet spot, the cottage is just a few steps from the harbour, 2 safe and shallow sandy beaches, independent galleries, traditional Cornish pubs and award winning restaurants it’s the perfect Cornish retreat all year around.

1 Wellington Place is a 200 year old, white-washed fisherman's cottage. Fully restored in 2025 using traditional materials and methods, the cottage is full of character with beamed ceilings, wooden floors, original window seats and a large inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove in the main sitting room.

French doors from the dining kitchen open into a lovely sunny and private courtyard, with bistro table and bench to invite you to dine alfresco in the sunshine. The courtyard can be accessed from the outside, with a lockable door and has a large undercover area perfect for storing bikes, kayaks, and adventure gear safe.
At the front of the cottage, a charming vintage bench is the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee and watch Mousehole slowly wake up.
Other information:
The cottage is centrally heated throughout and includes a wood-burning stove, with logs provided for your first fire from October to March.
Full Fibre Wifi is provided with high-speed internet access. All utilities, bed linen and towels are included. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
As with most cottages in Mousehole, 1 Wellington Place does not have its own parking. However you can briefly pull up outside to unload luggage and there are 3 carparks within a couple of minutes walk.
