Quiet, relaxing and comfortable 2 bedroom cottage in rural North Yorkshire. Located just on the edge of Burythorpe, close to the local pub, The Bay Horse is a 10 minute walk and another 3 pubs within 15 minutes drive. Ideal base for couples or families to relax and unwind.
The cottage is well equipped, with Kitchen which includes induction hob, Single oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, cafetière, toaster, kettle, microwave and dining area for four. Hall, porch, small utility room with washing machine. Two bedrooms both with wardrobe and draws, family bathroom with shower over bath, Airing cupboard, Living room with log burner, and conservatory, ideal for bird watching, wildlife spotting and viewing the stars at night. Patio area with table and chair for the warmer months. Large garden area (not enclosed), extra area for ball games and May to early September we have a grass tennis court which is free to use, rackets and balls are provided. Great countryside views and walking right from our gate.
We are surrounded by many local attractions including Castle Howard, Dalby Forest, Yorkshire Arboretum, The National Centre for Birds of Prey at Duncombe park near Helmsley, National Railway Museum, Wharram Percy Medieval Village, York Maize Maze, Flamingoland, Wolds Way Lavender, and Eden Camp. We are also close to Scarborough, Whitby, Bridlington and the North Yorkshire Moors.
