Pebble Cottage is a charming and rustic fisherman's cottage where original features meet modern comforts to provide a welcoming and relaxing environment. The holiday cottage is close to the heart of Flamborough and within walking distance of shops and friendly pubs like the Royal Dog and Duck. There is space for up to four guests to sleep in two bedrooms, making the cottage ideal for couples, friends and families to spend time together away from the distractions and stresses of work and school.
Flamborough is a lovely village a stone's throw from the coast and Bempton Cliffs, which are home to more than 250,000 sea birds including one of the largest colonies of puffins in Britain. The coastal footpath is a favourite with birdwatchers, who can expect to see kittiwakes, razorbills and herring gulls, but is lovely for everyone thanks to fantastic ocean views. The area is protected as part of a Special Area of Conservation and features two picturesque lighthouses as well as plenty of quiet spots where you can sit and enjoy the view. If you fancy sightseeing from the water then it is possible to arrange a boat tour or hire a kayak to explore the cliffs and coastal caves from a different perspective. There's a choice of peaceful beaches within a short drive, relaxed cycle or 30-minute stroll from the cottage.
Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington are all within easy reach of Flamborough, offering a wealth of entertainments and amenities all year round. There are two golf courses nearby, while energetic visitors keen to explore will appreciate having the North York Moors National Park and Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty less than an hour's drive from the cottage, offering an abundance of footpaths and mountain bike trails. Even York, with its ancient buildings and plentiful sightseeing opportunities, is within reach for a fun-filled day of sightseeing and shopping.
Pebble Cottage has a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere which feels a world away from the bustle of daily life yet which is convenient for shops, pubs and other amenities. Although the lights and entertainment of traditional seaside resorts, towns and cities are within reach, visitors will appreciate the serene beauty and peace of this part of the Yorkshire coast.

Outside: Pebble Cottage has a small courtyard garden at the rear, with flowering pot plants and bench seating. A gate opens into the lane at the rear of the cottage.
Additional Information: Utilities and bed linen are included. Short breaks are possible, depending on availability. Smoking is not permitted. Complimentary WiFi available. One dog may be accepted by prior arrangement (house rules apply so please speak to the owner should you want to bring a dog prior to booking).
