Chesters comfortably accommodates up to a dozen people in five bedrooms, making it ideal for families, extended families and friends. It is on the edge of Dumfries, around two miles from the market town's excellent shops, restaurants and amenities. There are fantastic walks and bike rides from the door, with more options nearby in the Galloway Hills, Solway Firth, Caerlaverock Castle and Wetlands Centre, and Mabie Farm Park. The location is perfect for a holiday at any time of the year, with short breaks and longer stays possible, depending on availability. 

The Old Stables is a newly renovated cottage in Dumfries, a short walk from shops, cafes, bars, museums, and the beautiful Devorgilla Bridge and the River Nith. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage comfortably sleeps six people and welcomes families and friends all year round. There is a wide variety of things to do and see, with activities including walking, cycling, fishing and golf. Visit historical buildings such as Caerlaverock Castle and Sweetheart Abbey, spend happy days shopping and sightseeing, and nights with a pint in Robert Burns' favourite bar, The Globe. 

Priestlands Bungalow is the holiday cottage in both the town and the country.
