Portpatrick is a picturesque seaside village on the rugged west coast of the Rhins of Galloway peninsula, in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Its harbour is home to a small fishing fleet and a lifeboat station and the pretty pastel-coloured houses are set against the backdrop of cliffs. Portpatrick is the starting point for the Southern Upland Way, the 212 mile coast to coast route across Scotland.
