Living
Grassholm Cottage is a charming, quirky, split-level holiday home set towards the rear of Skerryback Farm in the peaceful hamlet of Sandy Haven on the Pembrokeshire Coast.
With its own private driveway and parking, the cottage offers a wonderful sense of seclusion while still being just a 2-minute walk from a quiet sandy beach and beautiful tidal estuary. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is also right on your doorstep.
Inside the Cottage:
The cottage has a characterful open-plan living/dining/kitchen area on the ground floor with a ground-floor king-size bedroom and bathroom (bath with shower over). Up the stairs is a delightful crog loft bedroom with two single beds and a Juliet balcony overlooking the woodland — a favourite spot for children. It comfortably sleeps 4, but feels particularly well-suited to 2 adults + 2 children or a small family looking for something a little different.
Outside
There is a fenced garden with lawn and outdoor seating.
Location & Surroundings
Sandy Haven is wonderfully quiet and unspoilt. The estuary and beach are perfect for exploring at low tide, swimming at high tide, or simply relaxing with the sound of seabirds. Seals are often spotted in the water, and the footbridge is popular for crabbing.
Sandy Haven has a quieter feel than many parts of the Pembrokeshire coast, which is exactly why people keep coming back. There's a long connection to the water here, and the estuary shifts constantly with the tide, changing the view every time you pass it. The footbridge is well known locally for crabbing, and it's one of those places where time drifts a bit without you noticing. Walkers and dog owners settle in quickly because everything is close to hand, and you can head out straight from the cottage without needing to plan much at all.
