Berry Cottage is a charming coastal holiday home in the Welsh village of Little Haven. Steps from the beach, a friendly cafe and three excellent pubs, the Grade II listed property sleeps four people in two double bedrooms (one double can be converted into twin singles by arrangement) and is the perfect choice for couples, families or friends escaping to the Pembrokeshire coast. Start your day with an early swim followed by breakfast in the sunny courtyard and a day exploring along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Or perhaps you'd prefer to spend the entire day at the beach, surfing, paddleboarding and sunbathing before returning to the cottage for a refreshing hot outdoor shower and a relaxed seafood dinner using the cottage's excellent self-catering amenities.
Little Haven is a beautiful sandy cove overlooking St Bride's Bay. Once a bustling fishing village, it is protected as part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and has been a favourite holiday spot for generations. At low tide, the water recedes to reveal a vast sandy beach where it's possible to walk around the cliff to neighbouring Broad Haven and The Settlands. Swimming and paddleboarding are popular, with Broad Haven a popular surf spot all year round. The cottage has plenty of storage for guests who bring SUPs and surfboards. This stretch of coast is also great for snorkelling and coasteering.
A holiday in Pembrokeshire is always a good idea. It has so much to offer, not least miles of spectacular sandy beaches linked by the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Lots of guests take advantage of the Puffin Shuttle bus service from the village, so you don't have to do a there-and-back walk if prefer to save your legs. Day trips can include seeing the cathedral in St Davids, lunch by the harbour in Solva, ice cream in Tenby, and a day of family fun at Folly Farm.
Berry Cottage takes bookings all year round, so there's no reason to delay your next West Wales holiday.

Accommodation Comprises:
Berry Cottage is a Grade II listed former coach house facing down the road to the beach. The owners have done a wonderful job sympathetically modernising the property while retaining its character.

Outside: Berry Cottage has a large front garden with a picnic table. It's a lovely big space with glorious afternoon and evening sunshine, and is a lovely place to sit for sundowners. There is plenty of space for storing paddleboards and other equipment and you can load and unload the car from here. At the rear of the property there's a second little court-yard garden, accessed through a door in the wall on Wesley Road. This is a very private space with a smaller picnic table (seats four), an outside (hot-water!) shower, which is great for showering off after the beach, or for washing dogs. It gets morning sunshine, so is a great place for breakfast, or for a secluded al fresco evening meal. It's also a good place for hanging wet suits and some people may chose to store surfboards here as they're out of sight from the road. The rear courtyard leads to the back door of Berry Cottage, which opens into the cloak/utility room, for boots, coats, etc. There are two generous private parking spaces adjacent to the property.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFI, bed linen and bath towels are included. Guests are to bring beach towels. One dog is welcome at a small additional charge. Please speak to the owner if you would like to bring more than one dog.
